Anomaly Detection in
Surveillance Video
Aim:
The surveillance cameras have been used everywhere for the purpose of security,
analysis and controlling the crime or analysis of anomaly events in the most
sensitive places like Airport, Military regions, temples, Railway, public place, etc. The
cameras capture huge information and store which can be used to analyze the
situations after their happening. Although this helps the mankind to understand
but no more use in controlling. Hence semi/fully automated intelligent systems
are required to intimate the mankind at the time of happening will lead to a
hope of controlling the huge damage to the society. To illustrate, this can be
used in finding terror attack, bomb placement, religion disputes, attacks,
accidents, violation of traffic rules, etc.
With this aim, researchers have
focused on “Anomaly Detection in
Surveillance Videos” where anomaly is detected and localized. Our aim here
is to develop a more robust system to handle different anomaly and help the
surveillance system.
